CAN KELLY CLINCH IN EUROPE? WELL...
Okay math-mongers. Surely a fair few of you are wild with
wonder as to whether Slater can clinch title No. 8 in Europe.
Some of you may have even gone to such lengths as to crunch
numbers on your own after perusing the ratings page on aspworldtour.com.
Good on ya! That's what it's there for! That said, we also
employ a few folks who are paid to be privvy to that sorta
info here at ASP. According to them, unless Kelly wins both
the Quiksilver Pro France and the Billabong Pro Mundaka, the
title race will race on to Brazil... and beyond?
Last 4 Contest Schedule:
Sep 22-Oct 1 South West Coast-France Quiksilver Pro France
Oct 2 or 3-14 Mundaka, Euskadi-Spain Billabong Pro
Oct 30-Nov 8 Brazil Nova Schin Festival Billabong
Dec 8-20 Banzai Pipeline,Oahu-Hawaii Rip Curl Pipeline Masters

A little mini-flat spell has hit East Central Florida
the past week. It has been a strange year, with a miserable
summer, then wham-bam-thank-you-mam back-to-back
hurricane swells to typical Florida flatsville again.
Its tough being a surfer here in Florida. We definitely experience
the highs and lows of surfing ecstasy.
I got a little jaded last week and
skipped two days when the surf was up. The surf was choppy
and closing out. It wasn't the best of conditions. I'm kicking
myself now as I would definitely like to have those two days
back now!

We Are Water Happenings
I'm currently working on the E-commerce portion
of the site. I have 100+ 2ndlight.Com t-shirts
on order and that will be my practice run with an on-line surf shop.
I eventually want to branch off and include other products, but
the T-shirts will help get started and work out the bugs. I know
it is not an original idea to sell T-shirts out of a garage.
But, you got to start somewhere!
I'm also finishing up another Waterview
interview. This one is with Christa Alves (http://ChristaAlves.com/)
and is almost finished. It should be out next week. Doing the interviews
are fun. I'll be looking for the next interviewee next month. If
you have a suggestion, let me know.
Also, check out a friends website: http://burrysbreak.com/
